pcc is here to help you
Our Services
The Psychiatric Care Center thanks you for your interest in our services. We are here to help you get answers to questions about your behavioral healthcare. PCC will help you find a provider to meet your mental healthcare needs. We offer a variety of services, and are here to help!
Our providers are professionals who are board certified and licensed. They offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment to help you feel safe and secure. Patient care is always our top priority at PCC. Our facility has a team of specialists committed to caring for you as if you were our own family! Each patient is important to us each visit.
What makes us different is that we have certifications in psychiatry. So, our providers are able to offer services beyond counseling. We run labs to test liver, kidney, cholesterol, thyroid and vitamins. We can prescribe medication when needed. PCC can even offer injections to help our patients. Your mental health goes far beyond the way your brain functions. We want to look at your entire medical blueprint to see how we can best treat you!
STEP 1
INITIAL APPOINTMENT
Your initial appointment lasts an estimated two hours. This includes triage intake like a primary care provider’s office would do. Triage items include: blood pressure, temperature and weight. We then begin discussing your medical history. Your provider will then discuss social history, mental health history and trauma history with you. Finally, we will discuss your family medical & genetic history.
What you need to bring:
• Up-to-date insurance card
• Valid ID
• Any medications you take
• List of allergies
STEP 2
FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT
When we begin your care after evaluation, we will start a treatment plan that suits you. Treatment varies with each patient. However, we strive to make you feel safe in our office.
We even have an in-office vitamin D light! It helps with mood!
Each of our services intend to help you improve.
STEP 3
ON-GOING CARE
Once we’ve met with you several times, each after is to maintain a level of normalcy for you. This includes prescription medications as needed and continual therapy.
Confidentiality is important to us. We provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for our patients.
PCC also offer telemedicine appointments via a HIPPA compliant portal. These are available once a patient establishes care. These appointments are at your provider’s discretion.
